Eyes Stained Black is a music phenomena conjured by Josh M. initially. After
spending years in other formations never really finding his legs, ESB was a necessary
outlet for all the emotions and ideas that weren't permitted to come to light elsewhere.
" I never really knew where I fit in for years....I was too metal for goth, too goth for
metal, too folk for disco, etc. It seemed no matter where I tried to dig my feet in I
always felt separate from everyone else. So i forced almost all of my influences into

Blending elements of various forms of extreme music, ESB can be at times death
metal, noise industrial, experimental, a touch of goth, a hint of indie, but an all around
sonic force that cannot be ignored.
